Abel Costa has been a New Yorker since 2001, and currently resides in Greenpoint, Brooklyn. He holds a Massage Therapy License with the State of New York, is registered as a Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapist (BCST), and is associated with the International Affiliation of Biodynamic Trainings and the Shea Group.
Abel is currently attending Fordham University, studying Psychology and Cognitive Sciences. His educational background in bodywork includes the School for Body Mind Centering (2004 - 2005), the Center for Natural Wellness Massage School (2007), Associate Polarity Practitioner Program (2008), and Biodynamic Craniosacral Foundation Training with Michael Shea (2008 - 2010).
He has served clients and patients at the Gramercy Physical Medicine Rehab Center, Self-Therapy in Brooklyn, Kura Chiropractic in TriBeCa, Yoga-People in Brooklyn Heights, and at Equinox in SoHo.
Abel also draws upon his knowledge and experience as a professional contemporary modern/ballet dancer and choreographer. He enjoys playing piano and synthesizer, dabbles in videography, and loves being outdoors among nature.
